For travel in the high season (June to October, and late December to February) we recommend enquiring six to twelve months ahead so we can secure the camps you want. Shoulder-season trips can often be arranged with a few weeks' notice.

Our safaris are arranged as private journeys — your own vehicle, guide and itinerary. If you would like to share costs with other travellers, tell us and we will let you know what is possible for your dates.

No technical skills are required — Kilimanjaro is a trekking peak. Good general fitness, the right clothing and a route with enough days for acclimatisation matter far more than mountaineering experience.
